Sheryll's First Post

This is not a great picture of the children, but it's the most current one we have. I am SO not creative or a writer, but Bob wants me to contribute, so here it goes!

I have been busy packing. This is a different kind of packing than we have usually done since we have to sort our belongings into three different categories: The things that can wait years until we get the house built, the things we will need in our garage/apartment, and those that we will need right away while we live in the camper.

I am making an inventory of what is in each box and writing it in a notebook. Each box is numbered so that we can find what we need later. Hopefully Bob won't have to dig too far into the truck too many times to get things I discover I didn't leave in the "need in camper" section.

We are excited to get up to the farm and build and garden and have animals. It is something we have dreamed of and talked about for many years. God is so good to allow us to get to do this. We are thankful!

Our posts should get a little more interesting after we get up there and are telling you about what we have done each day (or week, however often we find time to post).

Blessings,
Sheryll

Half way loaded (the truck and trailer, that is!)

24 Days and a wake-up to go, and we're half way loaded. So far so good!

Cargo trailer

Sheryll's Dad is letting us borrow his 20 foot cargo trailer for the move. We now have all the vehicles/trailers in place, so with 35 days to go, things are coming together. Now we can start packing/loading in earnest!
