"It's gonna be a bumpy ride!"
It has been raining a lot at the Paulson Farm and that water needed a place to go. So what our neighbors said was an old well would be a good place right? Here's the story: we were doing our thing, Minding our own business when Dad came home and said: "We got a problem!" I (Tucker) was sick so I did not get to see it first hand but Mom rushed out with her camera and got pics. of it. Then,(being careful of the hole of course :]) Dad backed out of the driveway, hooked up the trailer, and went to the to the "Gravel Place" as we call it and picked up some gravel and filled up the hole. (We were glad no one hurt them selves by tripping over it.)

Teddy
Today we
have seen a miracle. As background, for
weeks feeding Teddy has been the same.
Feed two ounces, he burps and about a second later spits up
approximately the same amount he ate. Repeat two more times 2 ounces each with the
same results, including 4-6 burp cloths and a change of clothes for Teddy and
the feeder. Then for the next 2.5 hours
or so until the next feeding, he would retch off and on, sometimes spitting up
and sometimes getting it back down.
At his last
Drs. appt, the pediatrician said, “I’m jeopardizing my career by not having him
in the hospital already.” Because we had
found a new source of goat’s milk (the only thing he seems to tolerate…we are
borrowing and milking a goat) and his intake was increasing, we talked him into
giving us one more week to see if he would gain weight. Last night we weighed him and he was down
again after taking in a record 40 ounces for the day. We were discouraged and afraid. We had dedicated him to God, so my prayer
was, “God, you know his future. Perhaps
you intend to spare him from something awful here on earth. But if there’s any way possible that we can
keep him, please heal him! Nevertheless,
not my will, but yours be done.” Sheryll’s
was pretty much the same. The thought of
Teddy dying was very real. We were at
the point of desperation.
This morning
Sheryll called the Dr’s office and told them (with many tears) that we’re ready
to head towards the specialists in Denver and admit him to the hospital here in
the mean-time if that was what the Dr. recommended.
During
chores this morning it occurred to me that we should anoint Teddy with oil and
pray for him. (James 5:14-15) He had
been anointed and prayed for before but I felt we should do it again before he
went to the hospital. Last week a friend
had called and asked me to share my testimony at a Christian business men’s
lunch this week. After chores this
morning I called him to tell him I would not be able to do that, and told him
about Teddy. He shared a similar story
of his daughter and said that they got to a similar point and out of
desperation anointed her with oil and prayed and God healed her. I took this as confirmation and called
everyone into the living room and we anointed Teddy and prayed a tearful,
fervent prayer for him. He had already
had his first feeding and it was typical.
During his
next feeding, though, his spitting up was noticeably less. The one following that there was no spitting
up. (Lord I believe, help my
unbelief! Mark 29:4) Sometime after when
Sheryll picked him up from lying down he did spit up, but not a lot. (Lord, increase my faith! Luke 17:5)
I took the next feeding because I wanted to see the difference for
myself. He did not spit up AT ALL, and
has not spat up since! No retching
between feedings, either.
There were
many people praying for Teddy today. I’m
not sure which prayer the Lord heard, and it doesn’t matter. This one thing I know…my son who was a puker
pukes no more, and I will proclaim God’s goodness and healing power to anyone
who will listen. Thank you Lord for
sparing my son! And thank you for
building the faith of my family, who have now all seen first-hand the healing
hand of God.

We've got a new bathroom!!(Acually it is just remodled)
Dad bought new cabinents for the bathroom. Mom calls them "Cadillac drawers and doors" because they shut like the trunk of a Cadillac car. Cadillac trunks shut normally untill about half a foot from the bottom. Then it slowly shuts and latches without making much noise! That is what our drawers do. This is Dad is working on the wall so that the tall cabinent will fit well.
The tile is new |
This is the new sink Dad put in. It works really well! |
So This is the finished product!!! |

The bathroom is coming along!
The bathroom project is coming along good. Down below there is a picture of where Dad took out the toilet. Right beside the big pipe,(to the left.) you see a square divided in half. that square is where Dad told me that if he stepped there he would have fallen through! That is because of the shower. Water would run down the side of the shower,(which is on the far left of the picture,) and after a few years would soak in to the wood.
This is when Dad was tearing out the floor.
Dad took the old sink out so he could put the new one in.
We were very glad that none of us had stepped there before! |
This is four layers of floor!!! |

Dad put in plywood on the floor. |

Dad finished painting the bathroom today. There is a little touch-up left to do but it is not that much. This evening Dad came in to the living room and said:"All right, I'm ready to quit for tonight!" It looks really nice!
The white is the part that is not painted. |
The green in this picture is the wall all painted |
This picture is a little blurry but you can see that this is the when Dad started painting |

Chicken killer!!!!!!!
She is a pretty dog is'nt she?! |
Recently this dog got into the chicken coop.(Mainly because I forgot to close the coop door. ) It killed 28 of our chickens!!! That is most of our flock. I found 2 runing around that were not injured, And 2 that were. We are not sure who her,(Courtney found out that it is a girl) Owners are. we are going to take her to the humane society. At first some the kids wanted to keep her UNTIL, She chewed through: A half-inch lead rope, The rope that is tied to her in the picture, AND, her OWN COLLAR! Beside from that she managed to get out of a dog run!.... uh-hu, After that, We pretty much decided that nobody in our family wanted it! If someone comes to say that it is their dog we are going to charge them for the chickens she killed!
Dad started the bathroom remodling!!!
